I am a Research Associate in the Lirman Lab at the University of Miami (UM) focusing on coral reef research and restoration. I am also Program Manager of Rescue a Reef, the Lirman Lab's citizen science program designed to support our research through outreach, education, and engagement. We specialize in citizen science expeditions for participants to receive a hands-on educational experience in coral gardening.
I received my Master of Professional Science degree from UM, Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science specializing Tropical Marine Ecosystem Management. I am originally from Minnesota, where I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) with a B.S. in Biology, focusing on animal behavior.
